The AlbionVC Hiring Playbook is a digital tool that founders of early-stage technology companies use to take them through all the steps in the hiring process. The playbook provides objectivity, clarity and alignment for everyone involved in the hiring process. It saves founders time, money and helps ensure you are recruiting the best possible team.

At its core, the hiring playbook helps your hiring team articulate what success looks like when the person does the job well. It’s this discipline of essentialising what matters most, that transforms both the process and the outcome i.e. a good hiring decision.

Originally created to support AlbionVC backed founders and their teams, since 2021, the AlbionVC Hiring Playbook has been used across multiple sectors and geographies. 110 hires have been made using the tool across Sales, Product, Engineering, Talent and Marketing. We continue to advise on a hire per week using the tool.

The playbook provides a six-stage plan to help you run a stellar hiring process and make a great hiring decision. The stages include defining what great looks like in the role, creating a candidate profile, developing a scorecard, building a hiring team, creating an assessment plan, and engaging with candidates.

For the first time ever we are giving a number of founders in the European SaaS ecosystem an opportunity to access the Beta version of the digital playbook. Initially all founders will get access until the 30th August 2023.

To request access please complete the form above by providing your name, email and company.

2. Validate your email

After you sign up, you will get an email from us, with your URL to access the tool. Use this to validate your email and access the playbook.

3. Access & use your workspace

Enter the tool, complete the guided hiring playbook for the role you are hiring and use the additional blank templates for future hires.

4. Get Feedback

Once everything is set up, if you’d like feedback, you can book a consultation with a member of our team.

How long will I have access?
We are granting early access to our beta program until 30th August 2023.
What happens after 30th August and why?
You will continue to have read-only access to your completed playbook. This is so we can run an optimisation phase, where we refine and test the hiring playbook further, before releasing the final version.

Can I use it for multiple roles?
When you sign up for the beta program, you will get your own workspace with multiple copies of the playbook; use each playbook copy for one role at a time.
