Trumpet raises $6.35m funding to empower revenue teams with bespoke digital sales rooms
Trumpet, the platform putting buyers at the heart of the sales journey, has secured $6.35 million in a seed investment round led by us at AlbionVC, with participation from existing investors like Lightbird Ventures, Anamcara Capital, and Triple Point Ventures. This funding will fuel Trumpet’s expansion into the U.S. market and the development of AI-driven revenue intelligence tools.
Trumpet is revolutionizing the sales process by introducing “Pods,” digital sales rooms that centralize all aspects of the sales cycle into a single, collaborative platform. Pods serve as personalized microsites for each prospect, streamlining communication, content sharing, and deal management, which enhances the buyer’s journey and accelerates sales processes.
By consolidating traditional sales tools like emails and PDFs into these interactive spaces, Trumpet addresses the increasing complexity of B2B sales and caters to the preferences of digitally-native buyers. The platform has rapidly gained traction, with over 10,000 users and 250+ paying customers, including prominent names like Cognism, OpenTable, Sky Media, and YouGov.
Trumpet was founded in 2021 by Rory Sadler (CEO), Nick Telson-Sillett (CMO), and Andrew Webster (CPO). Telson-Sillett and Webster previously co-founded and successfully exited DesignMyNight, while Sadler brought experience from his role as a sales lead at Hotjar. The platform has demonstrated significant impact, with users reporting a 28% reduction in sales cycle times and a 13% increase in closed deals.
Rory Sadler, co-founder and CEO of trumpet, said:
“Companies are continuing to tighten their belts because of the economic climate and that means sales teams need to change how they fundamentally approach selling. We’re helping companies collaborate and centralise their buyer journey, increasing their sales efficiency and velocity. Our proprietary revenue intelligence signals are also helping revenue leaders forecast and understand their deal pipeline like never before. The new trend of buyer enablement is happening and we’re at the forefront of it. We’re delighted to be working with Paul and the team at Albion to support us as we expand to the US and integrate AI into the platform so we can continue to serve buyers and sellers.”
trumpet is at the forefront of the emerging trend of “buyer enablement,” focusing on transforming the sales experience by prioritizing the buyer’s needs and streamlining complex sales processes.
