Overview
Having been investing in technology with us since 2005, Robert focuses on finding and supporting exciting companies operating in the deeptech and B2B software space.
Robert is always on the lookout for innovative, mission-driven founders creating change and has worked at board level with numerous of companies in a range of economic contexts. Whenever Robert backs a founder and their team, he brings this expertise to the table. He always on-hand to offer input on strategy and organisational design to culture, leadership, finance and fundraising.
The investor started out at KPMG, then built up further finance experience at Credit Suisse First Boston and ING Barings before joining AlbionVC.
Robert holds a BA (Hons) degree in History and is qualified as a chartered accountant.
Robert currently supports Academia, Diffblue, Convertr, Gravitee.io, Imandra, Speechmatics, Symetrica, TransFICC, Treefera and Instinct.
Past investments include: Antenova (Microsoft and DiscoverIE), Atego (PTC), Grapeshot (Oracle), OmPrompt (Elemica), Ophelos (Intrum), Perpetuum (Hitachi), and PSE (Siemens).
