At AlbionVC, we believe great leadership is as much about clarity of communication as it is about vision. As part of our FoundtoLead programme, which supports founder CEOs on their journey to becoming exceptional leaders, we recently hosted a dynamic session at the AlbionVC Studio focused on one of the most impactful leadership tools: confident communication.
Led by former BBC broadcasters Louisa Preston and Luisa Baldini—co-founders of Composure Media—the session offered our founders practical coaching on how to command a room, deliver a message with presence, and prepare for high-stakes moments like investor pitches and board meetings.
Drawing on decades of experience reporting from global stages—from Olympic stadiums to international courtrooms—Louisa and Luisa helped participants understand how body language, vocal tone, and storytelling structure influence how messages are received. Founders took part in hands-on exercises, receiving real-time feedback as they refined and re-delivered their own pitches and presentations.
We were also joined by WellFounded, the health and performance coaching organisation to discuss their upcoming specialist 6-month programme for AlbionVC Founders and CEOs.
