Overview
Jane heads up Talent and Platform at AlbionVC, helping to ensure that we invest in the best founders by assessing their leadership potential and then helping them navigate and accelerate rapid organisational scaling.
In her career to date, Jane has transacted over 500 senior hires and helped over 150 startups build top teams. She also understands startups’ challenges as an entrepreneur herself – in 2018 she co-founded The Talent Stack, a talent management consultancy for early-stage companies. An advisor and a mentor who is passionate about supporting female entrepreneurs, Jane arrived at AlbionVC in 2020 fresh from positions as Talent Advisor at EQT Ventures and Balderton Capital.
Jane holds a BA Double Hons degree in French and German from Durham University.
Personal
When not diving into yet another book on Talent, leadership and human behaviour, the sunshine-lover can be found at a yoga studio or heading to a beach.
I’ve spent 25 years trying to understand, and codify, the founder psyche. Founders need to develop in an exceptional way; I’m in awe of those who travel this road and I dedicate my life to supporting their journey
